Happy Easter

Happy Easter from Sénégal. I celebrated here with my host family by going to a three hour Mass Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Here we are early Easter day (about 2 am) in our Easter best! He is Risen!

Today was also Independence day and Sénégal celebrated 50 years of Independence from France with the inauguration of the Statue of the Renaissance, a grand parade, and a traditional wrestling match.
